The facility owner and director is Leiah J. Carr, LMT, RM, CH, ASRS, CHMLD. She has been practicing complementary holistic therapies for over 20 years. Leiah is the President of the International Massage Therapy Credentialing Council, Inc., (IMTCC). She is the former President and CEO of the Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA), 2 terms, and past President of the FSMTA First Coast Chapter (North Florida Region) for six years.   She is the past Co-Founder, Board member and Education Chair of the Integrative Practitioners Association. Leiah is also a past Board member and Co-Founder of the Atlantis Healing Center.

Additionally Leiah is the President of the International Sound Healing Institute. Leiah created the Journey of Hope and Healing (HOPE Group), a holistically based cancer support group.  She is a writer, speaker, intuitive healer and business and mindset coach.

Leiah has been formally trained in many modalities from both Eastern and Western techniques, and has over 30 years experience in complementary integrative medicine.  Leiah has been trained and certified at the advanced International Educator Level of the Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage technique as well as several other advanced certifications. She has further personally developed techniques and courses in the rapid elimination of pain. Leiah has extensive experience with medically complex populations and conditions. She has many years experience in treating both pre and post op patients with MLD and other integrative therapies to assist them with rapid recovery from their procedures.

Leiah Carr is a native to Jacksonville, Florida.   She has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 30 years.   They have two bright and beautiful children. In her leisure time she enjoys the outdoors, camping, hiking, boating, gardening, spending time with her family, as well as nourishing a life long love of learning. She is evolving in the field of photography and painting with a love for acrylics. Leiah has a passion for adventure whether that’s white water rafting, zip lining down a mountain, or sky diving. She has experienced them all with great stories to tell. Leiah is very active in both the civic and professional arenas, and is a strong advocate for the benefits of massage therapy and the massage therapy profession. She has won numerous awards and in 2016 Leiah was honored to be inducted into the Massage World Hall of Fame.

Her passion is healing, with a deep desire to serve others through her many natural healing gifts, talents and skills.
